I first met up with Ellen and Darren in 2013 to discuss their special day, as they had been very organised and arranged much of it well in advance. It's amazing how quickly time can pass after meeting a couple and one and a half years seemed to fly by.
I arrived at Crowcombe Court to be greeted by sun and the ever friendly and welcoming Kate and David who own this beautiful venue. It had been a little while since I had worked there so was looking forward to utilising the fantastic surroundings, and recreating the circular group photograph of guests that I had first taken in 2012 (being told at the time that I was the first to do under Kate and David's ownership).
Ellen was slightly nervous but incredibly excited about the what the day held for her. Darren was calm and contained. But both couldn't hide the joy they felt as they saw each other for the first time that day, as you can see in the pictures below.
The colour theme was lilac and blue, with tailor made suits for Darren and his groomsmen. I particularly enjoyed taking a photograph of their first dance in front of the giant illuminated love sign, a fitting statement that encapsulates their day.
