I love working at Hestercombe Gardens. I have been a member of the gardens and spent many happy Sunday afternoons running around, playing hide and seek with my family. It is a beautiful location with so many places to take some great photographs, I always enjoy capturing a wedding there.
The ceremony was held at All Saints Church in Trull. As the sun emerged so did some of the children from the local Primary School, eagerly awaiting the arrival of Rebecca. Inside the Church awaiting the bride, was the calm and collected Jet.
The service was a very spiritual and relaxed affair, punctuated by some excellent live music by the band performing the hymns.
Afterwards I arrived at Hestercombe with Rebecca and Jet well before the guests and was able to spend some quiet time with them both, getting some great pictures before moving onto the friends and family photography.
Everyone was great fun and a pleasure to work with. My favourite moment of the day had to be shortly after taking a photograph of all of the guests the little flower girl ran up to me with her disposable camera and asked if I would mind taking another picture with her camera. I said of course, she then proceeded to explain in detail how the camera worked, including which button took the picture! This got the whole crowd laughing, me included. I told her I would do my best as she ran back to join the group (I hope she was happy with the result...)
I really enjoyed the day and I wish Rebecca and Jet every happiness in their future together.
